Telecounseling & Limited in-Office Sessions

I have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 or coronavirus. I wanted to reach out personally to let you know that your health and safety is my immediate concern and priority. I have been practicing Simple Practice Telehealth and Doxy.Me Video sessions with my clients.

I want to let you know about the measures I am taking to keep everyone safe for in-office sessions. I am disinfecting the counseling room of use 2 times each day of practice in the morning prior to begin sessions and afternoons prior to close and cleaning all contact surfaces hourly.

As a counselor I am working remotely with client who have any cold or flu-like symptoms and they will not come into the office to see me.  I participate in social distancing that will include no physical contact, such as handshaking, sitting 6’ apart and frequently washing hands.

I hope that everyone remains safe and unaffected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). I am committed to doing everything I can to be a source of security for you during this time of uncertainty.

All About Therapy

According to the American Psychiatric  Association, "Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.”

Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide patients with effective tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty.
